Anyone else like to rock rain boots on a nice sunny day? Me and my little gal sure do. I'm thinkin she picked it up from me ;) . We love to plop on our wellies (or goat ropers, as my husband calls them) to do a little gardening or what knot, regardless if there are puddles to stomp through or not. I have a festive pink and white polka dot pair, but poor Lou only has a plainie janie black rubber pair. So lately I have had glitter on the brain. Could it be because I was asked to collaborate with a big name on some glitter diys? (YAYYYYYYYY YIPPPPEEEE for me ;) ) Yeah I bet that's it. Details to come soon. Big toothy grin over here.
But anyway I have been brainstorming up a storm (punny right?!) for this feature diy. Brainstorming is kind of my thing. I love bubble charts and lists. Any scrap piece of paper is subject to my doodles and ideas. But now that my feature diy is complete I tho... Continue reading ...

My post yesterday (diy splatter refashion) was an easy refashion of this must know diy. Enjoy! Couldn't get any simpler. These handy little pouches can be used for so many things. Think make up bag, ipad/kindle travel case, diaper pouch, gift bag, journal cover.... really anything! You can also get really creative with your choice of fabric. Just make sure to choose one that has some weight and stiffness to it otherwise you will have one floppy mess. In case you missed it this was my version of... Continue reading ...

Lately I have really been into fashion. Shocker right? But no, really. I bounce back and forth between home decor/home remodeling to fashion & purses... maybe shoes too :). I love scarves and wear them any chance I can. As soon as there is the slightest crisp to the air I am wrapping that sucker around my neck. Here is my dilemma. I have long hair and if I wear a scarf, especially if it is a chunky knit, my hair soon turns into a tangled mess. Right there at the nape of my neck should be call 'rat-ville' for the nest that is created. Ouch! So
