 I received quite a few emails about how I made little man's birthday chalkboard signs, so I thought I would tackle another in a DIY version to share with you all.  Lighted signs or aka Marquee signs are all the rage now. Well at least on pinterest and craft sites. Here, let's take a moment to look at some eye candy  Via Etsy (Gorge!)  Via Etsy (Almost a GRAND for this one!!!)  Via Etsy (Really? One letter for $215? Hummmm I love it but that is pretty rich, which I'm not) Most of the DIY versions are overly involved cutting, gluing, drilling, sawing, spinning, crocheting, magical potions.... ok, maybe not those last three. But in general all the diy versions ...
 Not much is better than receiving a pretty personal piece of mail (say that five times fast!). You know what I mean. Like when you were seven, ripping open the birthday card from dear ol granny. Or like the time you tenderly peeled back the edge to see the beautiful wedding invite from your best friend. Or like when you gingerly open one of the numerous holiday cards, to be greeted by smiling faces and a drooling tongue (of your friend's dog... not their kid... hopefully).

Back into the swing of things I guess?! Crafting always helped clear my mind (aka distract me from the incessant thoughts and worries buzzing around up there). Brown Kraft paper is my go-to when it comes to wrapping. It is such a great blank canvas. Lots of different possibilities. Perfect for any crafter to be, well, crafty :) It is also a great big-o plus that it comes on a HUGE roll and cost only a few bucks. My kind of craft supply. So of course this year is no exception when it came down to wrapping and mailing out some Christmas presents.  So we are in the middle of a room shuffle. My office is becoming the shared kids room and Lou's old room is becoming my office. This makes the most sense because my old office space is HUGE, just perfect for two little bodies to crawl around in and it seemed selfish of me to horde all that space for myself.  My little muscle man was pooped out before the party even started! Well, the party went off with out a hitch. It was a blast! The kiddos bounced to their little hearts content, decorated dozens of mini pumpkins and ate their weight in candy. I made waaaaay to much food, but hey, leftovers are the best right?
