If you haven't checked out my DIY anthropologie coffee mugs, perhaps you should! This great DIY (in my humble opinion) was featured on Knock Off Decor. Whooot Whoot! The tutorial shows you a new way to decorate ceramic mugs with sharpie markers. My very own spin on the fad.  Thanks for stopping by! A lot is on the agenda for this little craft site.  Is it chilly by you yet? It was here for a hot minute (I guess for a crisp moment), but now we have this darn Santa Ana that blasts us with 80+ degree weather. Wah wah. I know I shouldn't be complaining about the fantastic weather we have here in southern Cali, but I can't help it. I want my sweaters and scarves and boots and cozy nights watching my husband lay naked in front of the fire on a bear skin rug... just kidding ;) but you get my point. All I can think about fashion wise is chunk...

Feel like fall yet for you? Not quite fall-like here... high eighties with a hot hot breeze. Not really sweater weather either... but I just had to scratch this itch I have had lately for lace. Fall fashion can be tricky right? I love seeing new styles and trying certain things out, but there is always that one piece/accessory that I reserve for the 'Oh I could never pull that one off' category. Saw these the other day at Urban Outfitters...  Cork LettersCool. Cool... but I bet I can beat that price of $12.00 each... and tweak it so it fits my style. So here we go  What you need: A roll of cork. Found it at Hobby Lobby for $9.00... and it is a LARGE roll. Could fit a dictionary's page worth of words on it. Some wood or card board letters, spray adhesive, craft knife, hot glue and some popsicle sticks.

 Welcome to our master bedroom! Just a little sneek peek into our little anthropologie inspired love nest. While our room is not huge... it makes up for it in charm.
