I gave myself a mini craft challenge this weekend. A little homework per say. I find that if I get a bogged down with stress or life and I just can't get those creative juices a flowin.. I buckle down and step it up (oh boy...how many cliche sayings did I just fit into that statement???). Any whoser, just like how actors and singers have voice warm ups, we crafters have warm ups too. This was a great mini warm up, as now my creative muscles are are loose and limber. Ready to tackle a few ... Continue reading ...

There really is nothing like a handmade card. Such a special little treat when you open up an envelope and you see this little piece of crafty heaven. Someone made it with their own two hands. It is like getting a chunk of the love chocolate bar via the post.
And giving a handmade card? Oh it is so nice to be nice :) Sometimes you just want the person to feel how special they are to you. I plan on sending some fall valentines to my sweethearts who are spread out across the US. Here are my ... Continue reading ...

Life At Home
Follow my blog with Bloglovin Here is Lou with the attitude's newest gift from her father. Yes it is a tractor... of course it is a John Deere.
It is much to much to big for her, I don't think her feet even reach the pedals. But that doesn't mean good habits can't begin. So while her father gave his big rig a wash she took it upon herself to give her green goodie a good ol scrub down. All by her little self. I asked if she wanted help... but that just got a big 'No!' and my jeans being... Continue reading ...

Life At Home
This post has been sponsored by Craigslist (not really), but it is definitely a testament to the awesomeness of CL.
While mama bear was at a neighbors baby shower this weekend the hubs was on Lou with the attitude entertainment duty. I thought there would be some playtime in the kiddy pool or perhaps some sandbox castle building...
umm no. Not with my husband. He don't work that way.
I should have known. His eyes are permanently glued to CL always on the look out for a screaming deal for cars/t... Continue reading ...

Life At Home
Getting gifts are the best right? There really is nothing like tearing open some pretty packaging to reveal the goodies inside. Lou with the attitude received a package in the mail from her grandma... and you can feel the joy she is experiencing playing with these new toys. I really hope she keeps that innocence for as long as possible.
She received her own set of cooking utensils and lots of play food to go with it. Not plastic (ugh) play-food but handmade felt play-food (sigh :) ). Alon... Continue reading ...
