 Anyone else like to rock rain boots on a nice sunny day? Me and my little gal sure do. I'm thinkin she picked it up from me ;) .  Put little man down for a nap and ran to the restroom. I thought Lou with the Attitude was munching on some cheerios in her room but I thought wrong. I left the RR and was drawn in to our bedroom by the joyful sound of giggling. Lou thought better of nap time and decided it was playtime. So exciting to be able to capture her 'firsts'. This was her first butterfly! I was futzing around inside when the hubs ran in and said grab the camera. There they were, engaged in a dance of sort. This weekend my parents, the babies and I flew up to Portland Oregon to visit my grandmother. She is my one and only grandmother, as my maternal one passed before I could meet her. (That statement makes me sad because from all the stories I hear about Betty Lou, she and I would have been thick as thieves. Getting gifts are the best right? There really is nothing like tearing open some pretty packaging to reveal the goodies inside. Lou with the attitude received a package in the mail from her grandma... and you can feel the joy she is experiencing playing with these new toys. Mama bear tried a little experiment today... and it failed. Mommy dearest tried her hand at some homemade chalk paint from a couple of recipes found online.
