Today was a good day... Beach Day

In order to escape the blazing-hot-surface-of-the-sun-indian-summer we are experiencing here in southern California, we did what any sane family would do and headed to the beach. Have some summer fun with a triple bun! I whip up this hair style when I am feeling a little frisky... really boosts the mood! Little kids always ask me about this hairstyle and how it is done... maybe it is the Dr. Seuss-ian quality. It is really simple and fun... that is what hair is all about, fun!

Summer Snapshots: Break it Down to the Little Things

This weekend was fab-u-lous. It really reminded me to enjoy the little things, to take a breather and look at the things around you. Our worlds have grown so big so quickly that small summertime experiences so often get over looked.

It also made it blatantly obvious that my level of patience has... exponentially increased :). Which is a good thing. Which is also a must with two small children. I honestly admit that before the kiddos came I was ummm... a little high strung, just a touch....
