 I gave myself a mini craft challenge this weekend. A little homework per say. I find that if I get a bogged down with stress or life and I just can't get those creative juices a flowin.. I buckle down and step it up (oh boy...how many cliche sayings did I just fit into that statement???). Any whoser, just like how actors and singers have voice warm ups, we crafters have warm ups too. Brown Kraft paper is my go-to when it comes to wrapping. It is such a great blank canvas. Lots of different possibilities. Perfect for any crafter to be, well, crafty :) It is also a great big-o plus that it comes on a HUGE roll and cost only a few bucks. My kind of craft supply.  There really is nothing like a handmade card. Such a special little treat when you open up an envelope and you see this little piece of crafty heaven. Someone made it with their own two hands. It is like getting a chunk of the love chocolate bar via the post.

Getting gifts are the best right? There really is nothing like tearing open some pretty packaging to reveal the goodies inside. Lou with the attitude received a package in the mail from her grandma... and you can feel the joy she is experiencing playing with these new toys. I really hope she keeps that innocence for as long as possible.

 Well I decided to take a little 'mini vacay' and enjoy some time gardening with my to little buggers. Thought I could get a lot done planning some DIYs but alas life as a mama of two is very distracting. I got lots of reading of story books, bath times and snacks made but little work done. Oh well.
