 We are dirt people. Shoes off, hose on, toes in the mud, under fingernails and yes, smudged on the face. I was brought up under the guidance of a master green thumb (my mama-dearest) and she passed on a deep appreciation and love of cultivating mother nature. My kitchen garden is coming together quite nicely. Ye-Haw! Lots of sweat and back breaking went into the little sucker and I can't wait to sow the seeds and seedlings I have percolating in the laundry room.       What a feeding frenzy! Between her and the ducks our bits of bread didn't last more than 5 minutes.    Why so serious?! These two. I just can't get enough. Such a special bond between a father and his son. I really couldn't ask for a better father to my children.
