Triple Layer Fudge Cake with Chocolate Caramel Frosting

Posted by Honor on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, In : Recipes

Thought I would share my most divine chocolate creation, as show above^^^^. It takes some time and a bit of effort to make, but it's totally worth the mess/clean up/excess baggage on the rear-endage. So if you are ever looking to show off, or show someone that you really really REALLY love them (as I made this for Lucinda's birthday) then this is a great go to. It's a combo of some of my favorite chocolate cake recipes and a pre-made frosting.... I can NEVER get frosting to go my way... I'...

Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies (No Eggs)

Posted by Honor on Thursday, May 29, 2014, In : Recipes

Does anyone else out there prefer cookie dough than to an actual cookie? Like, I'll whip up a big ol bowl of dough and only get about six cookies on the sheet because the littles and me have been 'taste testing' the dough to see if it needs a lil more of this (which is doesn't) or a lil more of that (nope, but just had to be sure... wink wink). If you do, hop on into by boat cuz I am always paddling towards that elusive perfect soft cookie recipe. I want a cookie that can hold it's shape ...

Baking Quest: The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies

Posted by Honor on Friday, January 10, 2014, In : Recipes
Welp, it's official. I have either lost my mind or baby nesting has officially taking over all thought processes. One moment I am frantically scrubbing the sink, next I am outside yanking weeds leaving em on the driveway followed by intense list making and thumb twiddling as I go over and over my mental notes of "Need to get... have... must wash... don't need till later..."
Poor Lou and Luke just don't know what to do. One moment I am full of joy and giddiness and the next I'm a cranky mess. ...

On a bit of a baking binge this fall season. Ingredient of choice? Pumpkin. I know crazy right?! If you missed it I already whipped up some Pumpkin Bread. But I still have three mondo sized cans of pumpkin puree to use so my pumpkin baking days are far from over. On the agenda now? Pumpkin cookies with spicy cream cheese icing. These don't require that much puree, so it's a great recipe to whip out when you have part of a can left over from a pie or whateves....

Moist and Easy Homestyle Pumpkin Cake Bread Recipe

Posted by Honor on Monday, October 14, 2013, In : Recipes

Quite a name right??? But I feel that this ^^^ recipe deserves a nice and hearty (and accurate) name. As mentioned many times before I am a pinterest queen and it has quickly become my go to place for finding recipe advice/ideas/inspirations. But this fall season I have been a bit disappointed with the selection of pumpkin bread recipes. Most are some simple concoction of prepackaged spice cake mix and one cup of pumpkin puree. Too blah... not enough pumpkin... not enough spice or zest or cre...
