I am being such a busy busy bee bustling about putting up Christmas decorations around here that I almost forgot to share my Thanksgiving tablescape. I'm calling this year's theme Golden glam with natural accents. Kinda how I feel about myself. While I'll never turn down a great designer handbag or a chance to take a ride in a luxury vehicle, I'd rather be digging my fingers into the soil planting a new agave.

No big bucks were spent here to create this tablescape. Here is the breakdown
Mylar gold tablecloth: $12 Home Goods
Ikat placemats: Homegoods $6 per pack of four (on sale :) ) Home Goods
Napkins: $6 per pack of for, Home Goods
Napkin Rings: $1 for two at Dollar Tree
Gold foil table runner: $10 Home Goods
Gold Chargers: $1 each, from Dollar Tree
Dishes/Bowls: My existing set. I use these on a daily basis. Picked up the entire set from a barn sale for $40!!
White burlap wrapped candles: $1 each with burlap and string scraps, Dollar Tree
Pinecone garland: $6 Micheal's
Pinecone Mushrooms: Local Barn sale, each was $4
Wooded Candle Holders: Garage sale find for $2 each
Glitter Candles: $3 each, Home Goods
Gold Rimmed Wine glasses: $1 each, Dollar Tree
Silverware/Water glasses: My existing collection
Pomegranates: From our yard

Everything that was new, I have every intention to use over and over. Gold works for so many things, don't you think?! Christmas... of course! Valentine's day with hot pink accents.... Sweet! Easter? Sure!
Pretty much any occasion I can break out these glittery gold bad boys and stir up the mix with the addition of a few new accent colors. Easy peasy.

I love looking at these pics... they capture the evening so well. The lighting was magical, the company fantastic and the food was surburb (if I do say so.... I did cook/bake/chop/saute/broil/glaze everything, and can't say I'd change much of anything if anything at all)
Just wish I took more pics of the finished food. But you know how it goes whilst entertaining... you get to having a good time and taking pictures is the last thing on your mind. Ah oh well. Next year!

Thanks for stopping by!
