Posted by Honor on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, In : Decor Crafts

But
always a but
I didn't want to spend a thing. And I didn't. I gathered up some old canvases from the depths of the hall closet and spray painted them with chalkboard paint. The canvases were sourced from Hobby Lobby (intend...

DIY Duct Tape Curtains

Posted by Honor on Monday, January 14, 2013, In : Decor Crafts

If you share any of the same decorating tendencies as moi (impulsive yet a penny pincher) then this DIY it just for you. Lately I have been on a bit of a yellow kick for decorating the shared kid's bedroom. I bet it all started with our beloved Rody. Rody is our bright yellow bouncing horse. So on my journey to incorporate yellow into the decor...

I know the pictures are a tad dark but I really wanted to try and convey the magical (and super feminine) feel of this lampshade. It came out so warm and well, pretty.
I picked up those vintage curtains a couple of weeks ago. Aren't those pretty too? Love them, love looking at them, but I am not so fond of the thing hanging in front of them. DIY Eclectic Nursery or Child's Bedroom

Posted by Honor on Friday, October 26, 2012, In : Life At Home

Don't you just love this hod podge of colors and cuteness?! We sure do...
Lou's room is by far my favorite of the house right now. It is just so full of fun, laughter and personality. But most importantly this room is full of spunk and character.Spunk is such an underrated quality when it comes to kid's bedrooms these days. I feel like most kid's rooms are either plain jane or way too commercial. Don't get me wrong, we love ourselves a Disney princess here and there but Disney on top o...
